Abstract

Obesity is excessive or abnormal accumulation of fat or adipose tissue in the body which impairs health through its correlation with the risk of developing diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, hypertension and hyperlipidemia. This phenomenon is a significant public health problem that has increased over time over the last five decades. The method used in this senior practicum uses the case method and data collection techniques are carried out by anamnesis and observation. The research results obtained diagnoses including nutritional baiting, more than body needs, risk of activity intolerance and body image disturbance. Conclusion It was found that dietary management in obese children has not revealed the results of weight loss in children with limited time, but with 2 diagnoses such as activity intolerance risk and body image disturbance, good results improve with partially resolved problem solving. Suggestions are expected for families, especially parents, to pay attention to healthy children's eating patterns both for the parents themselves and for their children and help regulate children's eating patterns, help children do sports.
