Respons Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Kacang Hijau (Vigna radiata L.) terhadap Aplikasi Kompos Limbah Baglog Jamur Tiram dan Pupuk KCl
Growth and Production Response of Green Mung Beans (Vigna radiate L.) to the Application of Mushroom Baglog Waste and KCl Fertilizer
Abstract
Mung bean production which is still low can be increased by making efforts to increase production, namely by improving plant nutrient sources and plant cultivation techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of baglog compost and KCl fertilizer in increasing plant growth and production. This research was conducted on community land in the Pasar 1 Tanjung Sari District Medan Sunggal Medan City, North Sumatra Province with an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level in June-August 2023. The research used Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factors: Factor 1 dose of mushroom baglog compost (0; 10; 20 and 30 tons/ha) and factor 2 KCl fertilizer (0;50 and 100 kg/ha). The results showed that the application of mushroom baglog compost had a significant effect on the number of leaves 4 weeks after planting, plant height 4 weeks after planting, number of leaves 4 weeks after planting, harvest age and seed weight per plot. KCl fertilizer has a significant effect on the number of leaves 4 weeks after planting, harvest age and seed weight per plot. The interaction of the two factors has a significant effect on the number of leaves 4 weeks after planting, harvest age and seed weight per plot. The best treatment combination is the combination of 30 tons/ha of mushroom baglog compost and 100kg/ha of KCl fertilizer because it can increase the weight of seeds per plot.
