    Abstract
Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) is an integrated circuit between passive and active components printed on a semiconductor substrate, such as Gallium Arsenide (GaAs); within working frequencies are between 300.MHz and 300 GHz. Multilayer coplanar waveguide monolithic microwave integrated circuit (CPW MMIC) has low loss and compact components. Therefore, the multilayer CPW MMIC was also compatible for cellular applications, especially for 5G millimetre wave band at frequency 28 GHz applications. Bandpass filters for millimetre-wave band applications are typically designed using resonators. However, the design of a multilayer CPW MMIC bandpass filter for frequency 28 GHz is still not available. Therefore this research was proposed a multilayer CPW MMIC bandpass filter for 5G millimetre wave band 28 GHz applications. This research will show several stages to achieve the goal, including updating the simulation technique, modelling multilayer CPW lines and square resonators, and modelling dual-mode bandpass filters based on square resonators. The bandpass filter for 5G mm-wave band 28 GHz was obtained from a dual-mode bandpass filter based on a square resonator. The obtained bandpass filter has an insertion loss of -1,96 dB, return loss of -20,7 dB, bandwidth of 3,23 GHz and VSWR of 1,2 at a frequency of 28 GHz, and attenuation up to -25 dB
