Pengaruh Pupuk NPK dan Biosaka terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Padi Sawah (Orzya sativa L.)
Effect of NPK Fertilizer and Biosaka on Growth and Production of Rice Paddy (Orzya sativa L.)
Abstract
The demand for rice is expected to continue to increase due to the increase in
population every year. In order for rice plants to grow well and produce high
production, sufficient nutrients or food are needed. This study aims to examine the
effect of NPK and Biosaka fertilizers on the growth and production of paddy rice.
This research was conducted from May to August 2023 in Pasar II Hamlet VI
Village, Tebing Tinggi Subdistrict, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The design used in
this research was arranged in a split plot design consisting of 3 replications with
2 treatment factors. First factor NPK fertilizer: 0, 150, and 300 kg/ha. Second
factor Biosaka: 0, 20, and 40 ml/15 L. The results showed that the use of NPK
fertilizer at a dose of 300 kg/ha had a significant effect on plant height at 8 weeks
after transplanting, nutritious weight per plot, and 1000 grain weight and the
provision of NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on reducing the weight of
empty grain per plot. Biosaka fertilizer significantly reduced the weight of empty
grain per plot. The interaction of NPK fertilizer and Biosaka had no significant
effect on plant height, number of tillers, number of panicles, panicle length, grain
weight per plot, 1000-grain weight and straw weight.
