Analisis Kualitas Air terhadap Objek Wisata Danau Taman Cadika Kecamatan Medan Johor Kota Medan

Abstract

Cadika Park is one of the tourist destinations in Medan City. This research was conducted in July – August 2023. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between tourism and water quality, regional carrying capacity, tourism suitability index, visitor perceptions, tourism potential and development of Cadika Park tourism. The research results show that the water quality value is still in the good category, while the tourism suitability value for the relaxing sitting category is 2.3 (Suitable), the fishing category is 2.4 (Suitable) and Outbound Activities is 3.1 (Very Suitable). Then this area can also accommodate 200 people for all activities. Visitors' perception of beauty is 80% (Beautiful), visitors' perception of comfort is 86% (Comfortable) and visitors' perception of security is 91% (Safe). The strategy for developing this tourist location includes the following; 1) Conduct deliberations between agencies related to the development of tourist locations; 2) Increasing promotion of tourist locations; 3) analyze the impacts caused by the development of tourist locations.
