Analisis Nilai Moral dalam Novel “Twenty Four Eyes” Karya Sakae Tsuboi Sakae Tsuboi No “Twenty Four Eyes” Toiu Shousetsuni Okeru Dootokuteki Na Kachi No Bunseki

Abstract

This research concerns the morals and characters in the novel Twenty Four Eyes by Sakae Tsuboi. The aim of this research is to explain the morals of the main shop and the characters of the 13 story characters in the novel Twenty Four Eyes. The theories used in this research are moral approach theory and contextual theory. The methods in this research are literature study and qualitative descriptive methods. This novel tells the story of a teacher who has twelve students who live in a village on the Seto Sea Cape. In the midst of difficulties during education during the world war, the teacher remained enthusiastic and fought for her twelve students. The results of this research show the moral values and characters in the novel Twenty Four Eyes. Moral values are values related to the good and bad of an individual's attitudes and behavior in everyday life. Character is the nature, character, talents, habits possessed by each individual. The moral values in this novel include the moral values of Wa, Giri, and Ninjou. The moral values contained in the story in this novel make it a lesson in social life that has a sense of caring, affection and kindness between teachers, students and the surrounding community and knowing the various characters of the teacher's twelve students.
