Analisis Pendapatan Usahatani Tumpangsari Jagung (Zea Mays L.) dan Kacang Tanah (Arachis Hypogaea L.) (Kasus : Desa Balai Kasih, Kecamatan Kuala, Kabupaten Langkat)

Abstract

Intercropping is the planting of two or more types of plants on a plot of land at the same time. The aim of the intercropping planting pattern is optimiziny utilize the production factors owned by farmers. The aim of this research is analyzing the income of the corn and peanut intercropping farming business in the research area and analyzing the feasibility of the corn and peanut intercropping farming business in the research area. The sample size was obtained from the random sampling formula. Data analysis methods are descriptive methods, production cost, revenue, income and feasibility analysis. The results of the research show that corn intercropping farming has an average revenue value of Rp. 14,828,571, income of Rp. 6,216,742, production costs of Rp. 8,611,830, peanut intercropping farming has an average revenue value of Rp. 35,588,571, income of Rp. 24,838,956, production costs of Rp. 10,749,615 and corn and peanut intercropping farming has a B/C of 2 and R/C of 3,it means that corn and peanut intercropping farming in the research area is economically viable to do
