    Abstract
Providing antioxidants is an effort to overcome oxidative stress and free radicals caused by high environmental temperatures in poultry. Soursop leaves and cherry leaves can be used as antioxidants. This study aims to determine the effect of using a combination of soursop leaves and cherry leaves as antioxidants on non-carcass weight, non-carcass percentage and abdominal fat in broiler chickens. This research was conducted on Jl. Mekar Jaya No. 38, Medan Selayang and the Phytochemical Laboratory Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Sumatera Utara in July - August 2023 using a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 5 replications. Treatment consists of P0= control; P1= Drinking water + Kersen leaves 9%; P2= Drinking water + Soursop leaves 9%; P3= Drinking water + Kersen leaves 6% + Soursop leaves 3%; P4= Drinking water + Soursop leaves 6% + Kersen leaves 3%. The parameters observed were non-carcass weight, non-carcass percentage and abdominal fat. The results of the research showed that the use of a combination of cherry leaves and soursop leaves as an antioxidant had a significant effect on the non-carcass weight and abdominal fat percentage of broiler chickens, but had no significant effect on the non-carcass percentage of broiler chickens. The highest non-carcass weight average value in treatment P3 was 451.77 g/head followed by P4, P1, P2, and the lowest was in P0 at 375.77 g/head; The highest average non-carcass percentage value was in treatment P4 at 25.74% followed by P3, P0, P1 and the lowest was in treatment P2 at 53.24.64%; The percentage of abdominal fat was highest in P3 at 1.67 and followed by P4, P1, P2 and the lowest in treatment P0 at 1.33%. The conclusion of this research is that the use of soursop leaves and cherry leaves in drinking water as antioxidants can influence the non-carcass weight and abdominal fat of broiler chickens, but does not affect the non-carcass percentage of broiler chickens, with the best treatment being P3.
