Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik dengan Pemberian Edukasi Pengaturan Cairan di Ruang Hemodialisa

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease is a condition where the kidney organs are no longer able to transport the body's metabolic waste in the form of materials that are usually eliminated through urine and accumulate in body fluids due to impaired renal excretion and cause endocrine and metabolic function disorders, fluids, electrolytes, and acid base. One of the complications that occurs due to chronic renal failure is excess fluid volume. One way that can be done to overcome excess fluid volume is by providing fluid restriction education. The purpose of this senior practice is to apply the concept of nursing care in patients with chronic renal failure carried out in the hemodialysis room. The implementation of this senior practice started from July 6 to July 13, 2023 involving 5 patients with the nursing problem of excess fluid volume associated with the inability of the kidneys to process fluids. Implementation was carried out for 3 meetings by providing fluid volume restriction education. It is hoped that patients with chronic renal failure can apply fluid volume restriction to prevent excess fluid volume.
