Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Penerimaan dari Sektor Pariwisata di Pantai Timur Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of the number of restaurants, hotel room occupancy rate, the number of foreign tourists, and population on the level of employment in the East Coast of North Sumatera, to analyze the influence of the number of restaurants, hotel room occupancy rate, the number of foreign tourists, population, and the level of employment on the revenues from tourism sector in the East Coast of North Sumatera. and to analyze the influence of the number of restaurants, hotel room occupancy rate, the number of foreign tourists, population, and the level of employment on the revenues from tourism sector in the East Coast of North Sumatera through the level of employment. The research used quantitative associative method. The data were about the number of restaurants, hotel room occupancy rate, the number of foreign tourists, population, and regional revenues from tourism sector in the East Coast of North Sumatera with 1312 Districts/Towns in the quarter of 1-4 of 2012-2021, taken from the BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics) of North Sumatera. They were analyzed by using path analysis. The result of the research shows that the number of restaurants. hotel room occupancy rate, the number of foreign tourists, population, and the level of employment had positive and direct influence on the revenues from tourism sector in the East Coast of North Sumatera. The number of restaurants, hotel room occupancy rate, the number of foreign tourists, and population did not have any direct influence on the revenues in tourism sector in the East Coast of North Sumatera through the level of employment.
