Mental disorders are caused by the instability of individual psychosocial functions, although some are related to the malfunctioning of certain physical or neurological organs. Mental health is more difficult to observe, so it often doesn't get enough attention from the community. Mental disorders are often associated with problems related to depression and complete loss of thinking. A person having a major depressive episode usually exhibits extremely low mood, pervading all aspects of life, and an inability to experience pleasure in activities previously enjoyed. Depressive disorders are more likely to be suffered by teenagers with an age range of 15 to 24 years. One of the efforts to overcome depression is using the Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) method, which invites individuals to learn to change behavior, calm the mind and body so that they feel better, think more clearly and help make the right decisions. Nursing care is carried out from 03 July 2023 - 28 July 2023 for adolescents. The location of the implementation of nursing care is carried out at SMAN 12 Medan. Implementation was carried out for 2 meetings. After the implementation of nursing with the application of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), changes in the client are still not visible. This can be caused by a lack of time in implementing the implementation.en_US
