Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan Keluarga dengan Anggota Keluarga yang Mengalami Peningkatan Kadar Asam Urat di Kelurahan Tanjung Rejo

Abstract

Uric acid is a crystalline acid which is the result of the breakdown of purines. The condition of increased uric acid in the body (hyperuricemia) will occur where uric acid buildup in the joints will form crystals with sharp edges like needles. Increased levels of uric acid can cause disturbances in the human body such as a feeling of aching pain in the joint area and is often accompanied by the emergence of extreme pain for the sufferer. One way to deal with increased levels of uric acid in the blood is to provide understanding for each family member in caring for family members who experience hyperuricemia. The purpose of doing this senior practice is to provide nursing care to families experiencing hyperuricemia. The results obtained from this senior practice were that there was a decrease in uric acid levels in families with hyperuricemia after conducting health education interventions for each family member, so that it can be concluded that the understanding of each family member in dealing with and preventing hyperuricemia is more effective in the community of Environment XI of Tanjung Rejo Village.
