Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disorder disease caused by the failure of the pancreas organ to produce insulin hormone adequately. High blood sugar levels in the blood exceed normal limits, namely normal blood sugar levels before eating 70-130 mg/dl and after eating, blood sugar levels will rise from these normal limits, namely less than 140 mg/dl after 2 hours. In fasting conditions for 8 hours, normal blood sugar levels are less than 100 mg/dl. Diabetes Mellitus can occur due to several factors, especially eating excessive sweet foods. The management of Diabetes Mellitus patients is divided into 2, namely pharmacology and non-pharmacology. In carrying out this senior practice, nurses provide nursing care to clients with Diabetes Mellitus with non-pharmacological management, namely with Massage Therapy interventions that aim to reduce or reduce pain in people with Diabetes Mellitus. Nursing care was carried out for 1 month starting from 03 July - 28 July 2023 for 5 patients with Diabetes Mellitus with the main complaint of numbness and pain in the hands and feet. The results of the implementation showed that from 5 patients the result was reduced numbness and pain in the feet and hands of the patient after 3 days of Massage Therapy followed by the patient taking medication regularly and starting to reduce excessive food consumption and containing purine substances.en_US
