dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the ritual process, form, meaning and function as well as local wisdom contained in the manganese na paet ritual carried out by the parmalim belief. The theories used in writing this thesis are the Semiotic theory proposed by Charles Sanders Peirce and the theory of Local Wisdom by Sibarani (2021). The method used in this study is qualitative method. Finding the results of the study, namely: manganese na paet in the parmalim belief stream there are 18 forms found in the manganese na paet ritual, including: Mashing tools, Ampang, Parmasan, Solup, Jual, Bale, Pangurason, Pardaupan, Lage Tiar (mat), (Inggir-inggir) eggplant pipit, (Bulung ni botik) Papaya leaves, (Sera-sera) Small jackfruit, (Te Bolon) Kaffir orange, (Lasina) Chili, and (Sira) Salt, (Ihutan) Parmalim leaders and general participants, as well as the implementation time in the morning or manogot ni ari, Of the 18 forms above, each also has a function, and a different meaning as well. And also from the results of this study there are 10 values of local wisdom contained in the manganese na paet ritual, namely politeness, honesty, social solidarity, harmony and conflict resolution, commitment, gratitude, hard work, discipline, education, preservation and cultural creativity. It can be concluded that the process of manganese na paet is a routine activity carried out by the congregation of parmalim faith to perform penance and worship of Debata Mulajadi Nabolon. | en_US |
