This research aims to find out the sub-activities, the implemented strategies, the benefits obtained, and the constraints faced by the Library and Archives Agency of Karo Regency. This descriptive research employs qualitative approach and involves six informants. The results of this research indicates that (1) the Library and Archives Agency of Karo Regency has used Facebook since 2019 for various types of content. The content videos published are in the duration range of 1-3 minutes in length with 2-5 contents/day. (2) The Library has also implemented/our strategies to use Facebook effectively as a promotional medium, namely by a) sharing and updating Facebook posts in an interesting and varied form; b) analysing the interest of FB followers to find out what kind of contents they are interested in; c) welcoming the critics and suggestions from FB followers regarding content or services needed; and d) implementing the result of interest analysis and suggestions received by providing up-to-date and qualified contents. (3) The Library and Archives Agency has made the best and the most effective use of social media as can be seen from the increase in service visits and the number of community contributions to each activity that will be held. (4) The obstacle faced is the lack of awareness from library staffs to like and share posts that have been uploaded. In order to minimize the problem, the person in charge of the library's FB is suggested to remind all staffs who are the members in WhatsApp (WA) group to share and like the contents that have been published.
