dc.description.abstractBackground: Temulawak extract contains the compound curcumin while meniran extract contains the compound quercetin. Therefore, to identify the presence and correctness of these compounds in each extract, chromatogram profile testing was carried out using the TLC method. Objective: To identify the presence of curcumin compounds in ginger extract (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb.) and combination powder and to identify the presence of quercetin compounds in meniran herb extract (Phyllanthus niruri L.) and combination preparations. Method: Testing was carried out using the TLC method at the USU Faculty of Pharmacy Phytochemical Laboratory Results: Rf value results for ginger extract Rf1: 0.35; Rf2: 0.60; Rf3: 0.85, for the Rf value in the combination preparation of ginger extract, meniran extract and snakehead fish extract is Rf1: 0.85, and the comparative Rf value of curcumin is Rf1: 0.35; Rf2: 0.60; Rf3: 0.85 The results of the Rx value for Meniran extract are Rx1: 0.23; Rx2: 0.72; Rx3: 0.85, while in the combination preparation of ginger extract, meniran extract and snakehead fish extract it is Rx1: 0.85; Rx2: 0.93 And the comparison obtained Rf: 0.78. Conclusion: In testing ginger extract and a combination preparation of ginger extract, meniran extract contained curcumin. In testing meniran extract and a combination preparation of ginger extract, meniran extract and snakehead fish extract contained quercetin.en_US
