dc.description.abstract | This research aims to describe the forms of gender injustice on female characters in Yuni novel by Ade Ubaidil. The theory used to analyze the data in this research is the theory of forms of gender injustice proposed by Mansour Fakih. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by using feminist literature review. The data collection techniques used in this research are library, listening, and note-taking techniques. The data in this study is in the form of literary language which includes sentences, dialog quotes and narratives in the novel Yuni by Ade Ubaidil. The results showed that there are 5 forms of gender injustice experienced by female characters in Yuni novel by Ade Ubaidil, among others: (1) marginalization, (2) subordination, (3) stereotypes, (4) violence and (5) workload/double burden. | en_US |
