dc.description.abstract | Performance is the result of work achieved by a person or a group of people in doing their jobs, in the conflict of double roles, the person will get difficulty in fulfilling kis two different roles which can cause work stress and consequentle decreases his work, motivation. When work motivation decreases, he will be less motivated to work. Consequently quently, his performance will also decrease. The objective of the research was to find out the correlation of conflict in double roles and work stress with female employees performance through work motivation as intervening variable. The research was done at Mitra Medika Hospital, Bandar Klippa. The research used explanatory research method which was aimed to explain the correlation among variables through hypothetical testing. The research model was causality model which was aimed to determine the correlation of a cause and effect between herogen variable and endogen
variable. The population was 76 female employees, and all of them were used as the samples, taken by using saturated sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using Partial Least Square (PLS) based-Structural Equation Model (SEM). PLS is component or variant based-strictural equation model. The result of the research showed deat conflict in double roles had positive and siguficant correlation with work motpcation. Conflict in double roles had positive and significant correlation with work stress. Work stress had positive and significant correlation with work motivation. Work stress had positive and significant correlation with performance. Work motivation had positive and significant correlation with performance. Conflict in double roles had positive and significant correlation with performance through work motivation. Work stress had positive and significant correlation with performance through work motivation. R. Square salue for Performance variable was 0.549 which indicated that the percentage of the influence of Conflict in Double Roles and Work Stress on Performance was 54.9% while the remaining 45.1% was explained by other variables excluded from this research. It Square value for Work Motivation variable was 0.586 which indiented that the percentage of the influence of Conflict in Double Roles ond Work Stress on Work Motivation was 58.6% while the remaining 41.4% was explained by other variable excluded from this research. | en_US |
