Analisis Intellectual Capital dengan Metode M-Vaic terhadap Harga Saham melalui Profitabilitas pada Perusahaan di Indeks Idxtechno di Bursa Efek Indonesia

Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the influence of Intellectual Capital, using Modified Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (M-VAIC) method on stock price through profitability in the companies at the IDXTECHNO index in IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange). The research employs quantitative method with descriptive verification approach and uses quantitative data. The population consists of 42 companies listed on the IDXTECHNO index in IDX during the period 2017-2022, with eight of them selected as samples based on criteria determined by the researcher. The gathered data are analyzed by using Partial Least Square (PLS), namely SEM (Structural Equation Analysis), through SmartPLS software. The results of the research show that, partially, Intellectual Capital has a positive and significant influence on stock price and profitability, while Profitability does not have any significant influence on stock price. It is also found that Profitability cannot mediate the influence of Intellectual Capital on stock price.
