    Abstract
Background: The main component that is efficacious as medicine in rhizomes Temulawak is a curcuminoid and essential oil which is the result secondary metabolism of this plant. Curcumin is a secondary compound phenol group formed through the shikimic acid and malonic acid pathways from simple carbohydrate precursors to aromatic amino acids. Objective: To determine the percent curcumin content in the extract sample ginger and a combination preparation of ginger extract, meniran extract and extract fish cork. Method: Parameters of curcumin in the raw material combination of ginger extract, meniran extract and snakehead fish extract include standard stock solution, long maximum wave, calibration curve and levels using the method spectrophotometry. Results: Results of curcumin levels in test samples, namely ginger extract and preparations combination of ginger extract, meniran extract and snakehead fish extract respectively respectively 5.05% for ginger, and 0.27% for the combination preparation. Conclusion: Samples of ginger extract and extract mixture preparations Temulawak, meniran extract and snakehead fish extract contain curcumin.
