Analisis Bentuk dan Penggunaan Gaya Bahasa pada Lirik Lagu Grup Band Begin dalam Album Gajumaru Besuto

Abstract

This research is about the form and use of language style in the song lyrics of Begin Band in Gajumaru Besuto Album. The data of this research are song lyrics from one of Begin Band's albums, Gajumaru Besuto. This band is from Okinawa Prefecture. This research discusses the forms of language style based on the group, and the use of language style and the meaning of words contained in the language style. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative by applying data collection using listening techniques, and note-taking techniques, and observation. The theory used is based on the Nihongo no Retorikku theory approach. The results of this research are 8 songs consisting of 31 language styles from 3 groups of language styles based on the book Nihongo no Retorikku. There are 11 types of language styles in the 8 songs in the Gajumaru Besuto album, including metaphor which dominates as many as 8 forms of language styles and the other 10 are personification, repetition, simile, meiosis, hyperbole, metonymy, euphemism, onomathope, irony, and rectorical questions.
