Analisis Pembentukan Kata Kerja Majemuk (Fukugoudoushi) dalam Surat Kabar Online Yomiuri Shinbun

Abstract

This study investigated the analysis of compound verb formation (fukugoudoushi) in yomiuri shinbun online newspaper of Yomiuri Shimbun in the Yomiuri Gourmet Club Shoku column from January 1 to 31, 2023. This study used morphology theory, compound word theory, compound verb theory, and compound verb classification. The purpose of this study is to analyze the formation of compound verbs in the Yomiuri Shimbun and to identify the forms of compound verbs. The authors in this study took the data studied from the Yomiuri Shimbun online newspaper of the Yomiuri Gourmet Club Shoku column from January 1 to 31, 2023. This research method used a qualitative descriptive method that uses literature research techniques to find solutions to problems from online newspaper data sources. The results of this study concluded that there are 19 compound verbs in the Yomiuri Shimbun online newspaper for the Yomiuri Gourmet Club Shoku column from January 1 to 31, 2023. Of all the compound verbs, the most common one is a compound verb formed from verb + verb, and there is only one compound verb formed from noun + verb. Analysis of the formation of compound verbs of all compound verbs showed that the most common morpheme was formed from basic morpheme + basic morpheme. The remaining morphemes were formed from content morphemes + basic morphemes.
