The data used is anime dialogue sourced from Golden Kamuy directed by Hitoshi Nanba from season one to season two. the purpose of this study is to describe the meaning and use of causative verbs (shieki) in the dialogues contained in the anime Golden Kamuy. The research method used is to listen to notes and qualitative descriptives to analyze the meaning of each causative sentence (shieki) found in the dialogue of the anime Golden Kamuy by director Hitoshi Nanba from season one to season two. The theory used in this study is grammatical semantics, to analyze the intention of a person conveying ideas and thoughts to the interlocutor, then the interlocutor can understand what is meant, because he can absorb the meaning conveyed. The results of this study found causative verbs (shieki) contained in the Golden Kamuy anime from season one to season two totaling 51 words, namely 30 causative words (shieki) containing kyousei meaning which functions as forcing, ordering, or making someone in a lower position do something. Then there are 14 causative words (shieki) containing the meaning of hounin which serves to let someone do something. Furthermore, the 7 causative words (shieki) contain the meaning of kyoka or kyoyou, with the function of allowing others and expressing intentions.
