    Abstract
    Indonesia is known as an agricultural country with the majority of its population working in the agriculture sector. Indonesia's need for good quality rice requires a rice sieving machine that can help to prepare the best rice to be sold on the market. A rice sieving machine is a machine that aims to make it easier for rice producers to separate broken rice from good or intact rice. So the rice sieving machine was designed to use a simple multi-level sieve using a vibrating method. This machine will work using an electric motor and is applied using a vibration method. This research was tested using the cock tilt factor and rotational speed (rpm) with 3 repetitions. The parameters used in this research are: effective capacity of the tool, whole rice, head rice and broken rice. The results of the research show that the design of the rice sieve tool has been successfully designed and can operate well by measuring the sieve tilt and rotational speed (rpm) and the effective capacity of the tool is 56,1 kg/hour. Whole rice produced was 33,19 %. The head rice produced was 54,43 %. Broken rice produced was 3,51 %.
