This research aims to describe (1) the forms of vowel and consonant sound errors spoken by stroke sufferers and (2) the application of lateralization theory to dominant speech sound errors in the brain in neurolinguistik studies. Data collection was used using a skilled method with basic techniques in the form of fishing rods and advanced techniques in the form of note-taking. Data analysis uses the matching method with basic techniques in the form of the determining element sorting technique (PUP) and advanced techniques in the form of equal comparison relationship techniques (HBS). This research uses Blumstein's theory and Pierre Paul Broca's theory. The results of this study found sound changes, namely substitutions in the consonants [p] became [f], [d] became [j], [ŋ] became [n], [g] became [k], [ŋ] became [g ], [r] becomes [l], [b] becomes [w], [n] becomes [ɳ], [l] becomes [y], [t] becomes [c], [r] becomes [y], [s] becomes [c], [b] becomes [m], [t] becomes [s], and [b] becomes [p]. Substitutions for vowels are [u] becoming [o] and [a] becoming [i]. The substitution found in vowels and consonants is [i] to [y]. The additions found in consonants are [y], [h], [ɳ] and [k]. The additions found in vowels are [i], [u], and [o]. Omissions found in consonants are [p], [s], [k], [g], [m], [h], [r], [b], [c], [ŋ]. Omissions found in vowels are [u], [i] and [o]. The speech of stroke sufferers shows that according to lateralization theory, the dominant hemisphere in stroke sufferers is disorders of the left hemisphere, namely Broca's Field or speech production disorders.en_US
