Comparative Analysis of Suprasegmental of BTS Members in Dynamite Song

Abstract

Suprasegmental values can be determined by a Praat app. The purpose of this research is to find out how much the value of the sound results that have been previously recorded. This research uses qualitative research with document study as the data collection method. The data source of this research is taken from a song that has been selected based on the part of each BTS member. To analyze the data, the researcher used the Praat application to find the value of each BTS member's voice to find how far the difference in the value of their voices. The results showed that all voices have a slight difference in Duration, Frequency, and Intensity. The longest duration is by V with 5.801833 seconds, the average duration is by JIMIN with 4.512542 seconds, and the fastest duration is by JIMIN again with 3.438125 seconds. The highest frequency was by SUGA with 348.8 Hz, the average frequency was by SUGA again with 268.7 Hz, and the lowest frequency was by V with 209.5 Hz. Finally, the loudest intensity was by V with 86.01 dB, the average intensity was RM with 86.17 dB, and the softest intensity was JUNGKOOK with 82.72 dB.
