Moraceae is one of the flowering plant families distributes at primary or secondary forest regions. The Sipirok Botanical Garden is one of the conservation areas that has five vegetation types which were residual natural forest, former plantations, old secondary forest, shrubs land, and grassland. Various plant families are found in these five vegetation types, including Moraceae, however the specific plant species from the Moraceae family at the Sipirok Botanical Garden area have not been identified. This research aims to identify the Moraceae species at the Sipirok Botanical Garden area using an exploratory method, which involves creating exploration paths and conducts observations at five forest blocks representing each vegetation type. The research results show there are 21 species of Moraceae belong to 2 generas, which are Artocapus (5 species) and Ficus (16 species). 15 spp of Moraceae species found grow terrestrially, and 6 species grow hemi-epiphytically.en_US
