dc.description.abstract | In an era where the development of the world is rapid, and competition
between people is also getting tighter, it requires someone who wants to start a
business to be able to take advantage of the environment, knowledge, and
relationships he has. For an entrepreneur, one way to be able to get both is by
joining an organization that can help develop his business. Knowledge sharing
itself is part of knowledge management. Meanwhile, relationships in business are
a process of exchanging information and communicating to help grow the business.
This research aims to examine whether knowledge sharing and business
relationships can affect the business development of a business person in the BPD
HIPMI SUMUT organization and how the benefits are obtained. Both of these are
analyzed and are beneficial to the business development of members of the
organization.
This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and
aims to explain a phenomenon that occurs. The data collection technique is through
the observation process that researchers do by coming directly to the object of
research BPD HIPMI SUMUT. Furthermore, the interview process with
informants who are entrepreneurs who are also members of BPD HIPMI SUMUT
which consists of key, main, and supporting informants as well as some
documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is using data
reduction, data presentation, and discussion.
The results of this study indicate that knowledge sharing applied and
implemented by entrepreneurs as well as members of BPD HIPMI SUMUT runs
quite well and has an effect on the business development of HIPMI SUMUT
members. In addition, existing business relationships are also influential and can
provide benefits to the business development of members of the organization. This
is in line with the informants' businesses that have successfully developed and
increased. Although it is done effectively and put to good use, knowledge sharing
and business relations still have some problems such as the inability of human
resources to maximize the potential and opportunities that exist, so it is still
necessary for the organization to prepare careful preparation and provide good
understanding for entrepreneurs as well as members of BPD HIPMI SUMUT. | en_US |
