dc.description.abstractHuman resources in the organization have an important role in that all the potential that exists in human resources can be utilized as an effort to be able to achieve success in achieving goals both individually and in the organization. The level can see this success of employee performance in the organization, which is influenced by human capital and talent management. This study aims to analyze how human capital and talent management influence the improvement of employee performance at PT Telkom Witel Medan. The influence of human capital and talent management on employee performance will be analyzed partially and simultaneously. The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population in this study consisted of all employees of PT Telkom Witel Medan's data management division, totaling 34 people, using saturated sampling techniques. Primary data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly, while secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The data analysis methods used are instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analyses, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that human capital and talent management had a significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on employee performance at PT Telkom Witel Medan. The correlation coefficient (R) value is 0.870, which means that there is a relationship between the human capital (x1) and talent management (x2) variables on employee performance (Y) of 87% so that the relationship between these variables can be categorized as very close. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.740, or the coefficient of determination, displays that the human capital (x1) and talent management (X2) variables on employee performance (Y) are 74%. In comparison, other factors outside this research model influence the remaining 26%.en_US
