dc.description.abstract | Job satisfaction is an employee's positive attitude towards their work. Factors that can influence job satisfaction include work family conflict and organizational support. Companies that do not understand the level of job satisfaction of their employees can affect the company's operational activities.
This research aims to determine the effect of work family conflict and organizational support on job satisfaction. The influence of work family conflict and organizational support will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on the job satisfaction of employees in the company secretariat at PTPN IV Medan.
The form of research used is quantitative with an associative approach. The population in this study was all employees of the company secretariat at PTPN IV Medan totaling 55 people with a sampling technique using saturated sampling. Primary data was obtained through distributing questionnaires directly and secondary data was obtained through literature study. The analytical methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, partial test, simultaneous test and determination test and processed using SPSS software.
The research results show that Work Family Conflict does not have a significant influence on job satisfaction, the t value is 0.426 < 2.006 with a sig value of 0.672 > 0.05 and a positive regression coefficient value of 0.033. Organizational support has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, with a t-count value of 13.422 > 2.006 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 and a positive regression coefficient value of 1.214. In simultaneous testing, the variables Work Family Conflict and Organizational Support influence simultaneously with a level of influence of 77.7%, while the remaining 22.3% is influenced by factors outside this research model. | en_US |
