    Abstract
This research aims to describe how they interpret their work, what the job distribution system is like as parking attendants, and how the conflict between parking attendants that occurs in Medan Sunggal is described. Parking attendants are a phenomenon that is most often encountered or heard by anyone in urban life. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Determining informants using interview techniques, by interviewing 7 informants by selecting several informants who have criteria or match the research objectives determined by the researcher. Data presentation refers to Alfred Schutz's phenomenology concept. The research results show that the meaning of work for parking attendants is as a source of income, for parking attendants to fulfill their and their families' daily needs such as meeting the needs for clothing, food and shelter. The description of the work system as a parking attendant is the division of parking space or land, division of time (working hours), division of income, prioritizing the length of time as a parking attendant. The differentiation and conflict that occurs among parking attendants in Medan Sunggal District is that differences in parking spaces or areas cause differences in income. Where, differences in parking space can have a direct impact on income. Larger or more strategic parking lots usually attract more users, increasing the potential income of parkers.
