Test of The Effectiveness of Biological Agents Trichoderma spp. Against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cepae Cause of Fusarium Wilt Disease of Shallots (Allium cepa L.)
Abstract
The shallot plant is a functional plant with high economic value and has market opportunities to be developed as a business with quite promising prospects. One of the causes of low shallot production is Fusarium wilt disease caused by the pathogen F. oxysporum which is difficult to control. The research method carried out in the field was using a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 5 treatments and 5 replications. There were 5 treatments tested, namely: D0 = Control; D1 = Trichoderma spp. Isolate 1; D2 = Trichoderma spp. Isolate 2; D3 = Trichoderma spp. Isolate 3; D4 = Trichoderma spp. Isolate 4. The highest percentage of data for plant height and number of leaves was in treatment D1 (Trichoderma spp. Isolate 1). The highest percentage of disease incidence at 28 HST was D2 (Trichoderma spp. Isolate 2), namely 100%. At 28 HST the highest level of severity was in treatment D2 (Trichoderma spp. Isolate 2) namely 39,50%. From the research results, it was found that the highest production data was found in the D4 treatment (Trichoderma spp. Isolate 4), namely 21,8 ku/ha.
