Abstract
Potato (Solanum tuberosum) is a vegetable that plays an important role in meeting feed needs. The main pathogen that attacks potato plants is the fungus P. infestans which causes leaf blight. Control of P. infestans has so far been carried out using fungicides. The research method used was a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 3 factors and 3 replications. Factor 1 is the concentration of systemic fungicide containing the active ingredient metalaxyl with treatment without fungicide, 1 gr, 2 gr, and 3 gr. Factor 2 is the fungicide application interval every 4, 8, 12 days. Factor 3 is providing plastic shade and no shade. The results of the research in the wet month showed that the plastic house shading treatment had no significant effect, and the fungicide concentration treatment containing the active ingredient metalaxyl and the fungicide application interval treatment had a significant effect on observations of potato plants. And the best treatment obtained during the research was TD3I1 treatment, namely treatment without shade with a dose of 3 grams and an application interval of 4 days.
