dc.description.abstract | Soybeans are a food commodity and a very important source of vegetable protein, especially for the Indonesian population. Soybeans are a plant native to China that has been widely cultivated by humans. A problem that is often encountered in soybean plants is the high rate of flower and pod loss..Soybeans began to be known in Indonesia since the 16th century, specifically on the island of Java and then developed on other islands. In Indonesia, soybeans are consumed in the form of tofu and tempeh. This research aims to determine the administration of gibberalin to overcome flower abscission in soybean plants [Glycine max (L.). This research was conducted from April to September 2023 using a randomized block design a Factorial Randomized Block Design with two treatment factors, namely:Agromulyo, Dering 2 and Giberalin. Observed variables were, percentage of flower abscission, Number of Pods Per Plant, Seed Weight Per Plant, Number of Filled Pods Per Plant, Number of Empty Pods Per Plant, Dry and Wet Pod Weight and Harvest Age and number of plant flowers. The results of the research showed that different varietal treatments had a very significant effect on the parameters of number of pods per plant, number of pods and age of harvest. Different gibberellin concentration treatments had a significant effect on the parameters of seed weight per plant, number of empty pods per plant, harvest age and percentage of flower drop. The interaction between variety and gibberalline concentration had no significant effect on all parameters | en_US |
