Analisis Penentuan Sektor Unggulan dan Potensial dalam Menentukan Prioritas Pembangunan Daerah di Kabupaten Langkat Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to determine which sectors are leading sectors in Langkat Regency in the period 2017 to 2022, the analyze sectors that can be used as potential economic sectors based on the growth criteria of the regional economic structure in Langkat Regency, explain sectors that have good growth and contribute to their regions so that they become leading sectors in Langkat Regency. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series from the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Langkat Regency and North Sumatra Province with Constant Price in 2017-2022. The analytical tools used in this study are: 1) Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) 2) Overlay Analysis 3) Growth Ratio Model Analysis (MRP). The results of the study show that the sectors that can be used as leading sectors in Langkat Regency in accordance with Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) Analysis are Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, Mining and Quarrying Sector, Processing Industry Sector, Water Supply Sector, Waste, Waste and Recycling Processing, Construction Sector, Transportation and Warehousing Sector, Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision Sector, Financial Services and Insurance Sector, Sector Health Services and Social Activities. Sectors that have good growth and contribute to the region so that they become the leading sectors in Langkat Regency based on the Growth Ratio Model Analysis are the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, and the Water Supply, Waste Processing, Waste and Recycling Sector. Sectors that can be used as potential economic sectors in the regional economic structure growth criteria based on Overlay Analysis in Langkat Regency are the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, Mining and Quarrying Sector, Processing Industry Sector, Water Supply Sector, Waste Processing, Waste and Recycling, Construction Sector, Transportation and Warehousing Sector, Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision Sector, Financial Services and Insurance Sector, and Health Services and Social Activities Sector.
