Pengaruh Paritas terhadap Kinerja Reproduksi Domba Lokal Persilangan yang Disinkronisasi Estrus Menggunakan Prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α) Dua Kali Penyuntikan dengan Jarak Penyuntikan 8 dan 11 Hari

Abstract

Optimal reproduction of local sheep is influenced by their estrous cycle. This research analyzed the effect of parity and different second injection times on estrus response, estrus onset, estrus duration and pregnancy percentage of local sheep synchronized estrus using PGF2α double injection, and determine how effective the use of prostaglandin hormone preparations with synchronization protocols of 8 and 11 days injected into several parities of local sheep. This research was conducted from July to August 2023 at Maju Bersama Farm. The research was conducted experimentally using a complete randomized design factorial pattern with two factors (3 x 2), namely factor I parity of local sheep P0 = parity of virgin local sheep, P1 = parity of local sheep lambing 1 time and P2 = parity of local sheep lambing 2 times) and factor II is the injection (A1 = prostaglandin injection on day 0 and day 8 and A2 = Prostaglandin injection on day 0 and day 11) . The parameters in this study were estrus response, estrus onset, estrus duration and pregnancy percentage. The results of this research indicate that the effect of parity has a significant effect (P < 0.05) on the reproductive performance of local ewe lambs. There is no interaction between parity with the second injection interval of 8 and 11 on the reproductive performance of local ewe lambs.
