dc.description.abstract | Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in improving the regional economy and the economy of a country. MSMEs are able to absorb 97 percent of the total workforce and are able to collect up to 60.4 percent of total investment in Indonesia, However, the city of Medan itself, which is the 4th largest city in Indonesia, does not yet have a center or place that can really accommodate MSME activities. This design report focuses on the problem of how to design an MSME square building with a green architectural concept, with detailed engineering design, RAB, and RKS outputs in a design repon. The method used in this design is based on the framework of reference and then conducting a survey to the location that has been determined, reports are made using a descriptive method with various analyzes such as site analysis. climatology, functions, activities, utilities and other analysis needed. From the results of the analysis with various basic and standard provisions that have been set, then the concept that will be used is green architecture. The end result of the design is that the building consists of 3 floors, the functions in the building are placed with the consideration of ease of access and can support each other. The shape of the building was made taking into account the concept of green architecture with a u-shape that is oriented east-west for consideration of sunlight, then the building is also made void to allow light to enter the building, the materials used are also materials that can support concepts such as low-e glass that keeps out it's hot but can still let in light, solar panels will also be installed on the roof to harness sunlight into energy that can be used in buildings. | en_US |
