Universitas Sumatera Utara Padang Bulan Medan campus is one of the green open space areas in Medan city. Trees along the Universitas Sumatera Utara campus road are part of the green open space with an area of about 9.51 ha and play an important role in carbon storage. This study aims to analyze the structure and composition of trees and analyze the carbon storage of trees along the Universitas Sumatera Utara campus road, Padang Bulan Medan. The method in calculating the biomass of trees uses 2 selected allometric equations and the volumetric method. There are 18 tree species with a total of 785 individuals dominated by tanjung trees (Mimusops elengi) as many as 285 individuals so that it has the highest relative density of 36.30%. The dominating diameter class of 785 individual trees is the diameter class 20-29.9 cm. Carbon storage of trees above the surface based on the allometric equation of Brown (1997) and Chave et al. (2001) are 48.74 tons/ha and 78.34 tons/ha. While based on the volumetric method, the carbon storage obtained is 32.52 tons/ha.
