    Abstract
Corn production in North Sumatra decreased in the 2020-2022 period. To solve this problem, fertilization can be done with organic fertilizer, such as palm oil solid waste and bioneensis fertilizer. The aim of this research is to improve the properties of Ultisols and increase the growth of sweet corn in this Soil. This research was conducted in Sei Rotan Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province in May - September 2023. This research used a factorial randomized block design with two (2) factors and three (3) replications. The first factor is the application solid palm oil waste with three (3) levels of consist of no solid palm oil waste (control), palm oil solid waste at 4.25 tha−1 and 8.5 tha−1. The second factor is bioneensis fertilizer with four (4) levels of treatment, consist of no bioneensis fertilizer (control), bioneensis fertilizer at 4 tha−1, 6 tha−1, and 8 tha−1. The results showed that the application of solid palm oil waste had an effect in reducing soil temperature and increasing plant height growth, soil water content and P uptake. Application of Bioneensis fertilizer did not increase plant height, soil water content, plant P uptake and available P, but did reduce soil temperature at 4 WAP. The combined application of palm oil solid waste and bioneensis fertilizer did not increase sweet corn plant height, soil water content, plant P uptake, soil temperature and available P.
