    Abstract
This thesis is motivated by the Maternity Leave Policy between Indonesia and Sweden in the perspective of Liberal Feminism. Policy is a series of rules or actions set to achieve certain goals, whether in the context of government, organizations, or individuals. Maternity leave policy is a policy that gives employees, especially women, the right to take leave when giving birth to a child in order to pay attention to family needs and postpartum recovery without worrying about losing their jobs or income. This analysis will cover how the maternity leave policy impacts women's participation in the labor market, family welfare, and economic growth. Effective policy measures will increase productivity, reduce gender inequality and create an inclusive work environment. This thesis aims to determine the factors that influence the maternity leave policies of Indonesia and Sweden. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, which is research that aims to present facts and events systematically. The data collection technique in this research is the literature study technique. Feminist analysis of maternity leave policy is a thought that discusses legal justice and legal protection for women workers in the context of feminism. Protection of maternity leave rights is an important aspect of labor law, which serves to protect justice and legal benefits related to these rights. The maternity leave policy for women can be a loophole to return women to the domestic sphere, so it needs to be considered so that it does not actually put women in the feminization of poverty, the wage gap, or domesticate women.
