Analisis Perubahan Tutupan Lahan di Wilayah Kecamatan Sianjur Mula Mula Kabupaten Samosir dengan Menggunakan Citra Sentinel 2

Abstract

Land use change continues to increase along with technological advances and an increase in population. This is also the case in Sianjur Mula-Mula Sub-district. Sianjur Mula mula sub-district is one of the sub-districts in Samosir Regency which has 12 villages. Most of the villages are located in the hills which are also experiencing changes. This research was conducted to analyze land cover change in Sianjur Mula Sub-district between 2017 and 2022. This research used Sentinel 2 imagery and guided classification method. Based on the results of the study, there are 5 classes of land cover in Samosir District, namely forest land, settlements, shrubs, rice fields, and mixed gardens. In 2017, shrubs were the land cover that dominated Sianjur mula mula with an area of 4,689 Ha or 39.68%, and in 2022 Sianjur mula mula was still dominated by shrubs 4,529 Ha or 38.32%. The largest increase in change occurred in the forest with a change of 182 Ha or 1.54%. While the smallest land change occurred in rice fields with a total change of 33 Ha or 0.28%.
