Analisis Kelayakan Finansial dan Persepsi Pengelola Tambak Sistem Silvofishery di Kelurahan Belawan Sicanang

Abstract

Mangrove forests have many benefits for forest, water and environmental ecosystems physically, biologically and economically. Damage to the mangrove ecosystem is caused by development demands that emphasize economic goals. Implementing silvofishery is a method of rehabilitating mangrove land by involving the community. Silvofishery ponds are one of the economic benefits for the community in Belawan Sicanang Urban Village because the mangrove forest in Belawan Sicanang Village has experienced quite serious damage. The aim of this research is to analyze the financial feasibility of silvofishery ponds in Belawan Sicanang Village and to determine the perceptions of silvofishery pond managers in utilizing mangrove forests in Belawan Sicanang Urban Village. The analytical method used is financial feasibility analysis with the criteria of Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C Ratio) as well as descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the silvofishery ponds in Belawan Sicanang Urban Village have a model of intercropping with a ditch pond system with the types of commodities cultivated including mangrove crabs, tiger prawns and tilapia. The results of the financial feasibility analysis are an NPV of IDR 55.414.804, an IRR value of 38%, and a Net B/C Ratio value of 1.48. So it can be concluded that the silvofishery pond can be said to be suitable to run because it meets the criteria. Utilization of mangroves into silvofishery ponds is one of the government activities that has an influence on the community's economy.
