Persepsi dan Partisipasi Masyarakat Kabupaten Gayo Lues terhadap Keberhasilan Kegiatan Rehabilitasi Hutan dan Lahan (RHL)

Abstract

Perception and participation from the community must be encouraged on an ongoing basis activities responsibility so that forests do not experience very worrying degradation. Forest degradation has a very negative impact on the existence of communities in or around forests because it can trigger natural disasters that are uncontrolled and detrimental to communities such as landslides, flash floods, drought, local climate change, and so on. This research aims to determine perceptions, participation, and factors that influence community participation in forest and land rehabilitation activities. The herd that will carry out research related to Forest and Land Rehabilitation consists of 3 sub-districts, namely Terangun, Blangkejeren, and Blangjerango Districts, Gayo Lues Regency with a sample size of 91 people. The findings show the level of perception of the people of Terangun, Blangkejeren, and Blangjerango sub-districts regarding Forest and Land Rehabilitation activities obtained relatively good perception scores in every aspect, namely planning, implementation, utilization, and evaluation. Furthermore, the level of community participation in forest and land rehabilitation (RHL) activities in Terangun, Bangkejeren, and Blangjerango Districts can be said to have high participation in every aspect, namely planning, implementation of utilization, and evaluation. Then the factors that influence the level of community participation in Forest and Land Rehabilitation activities are age, education level, and income. Plant height alignment is the average plant height obtained by averaging the height of each individual plant compared to the number of plants. The percentage of plant growth is calculated by comparing the number of plants that grow with the planned number of plants that should be in the plot in question. Furthermore, these results demonstrate the implementation of the District's RHL activities. Gayo Lues after two years from 2019 - 2021 has not yet reached 75%.
