Peran Komunikasi terhadap Efektivitas Kerja pada Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the role of communication in increasing employee work effectiveness. This research was carried out at the DPRD Secretariat of North Sumatra Province using data collection techniques, namely observation and direct interviews with several employees. The role of communication in increasing work effectiveness at the DPRD Secretariat of North Sumatra Province is very necessary so that cooperation between superiors and employees can be created in harmony in the context of implementing agency activities to achieve the agency's vision and mission. Communication that occurs at the North Sumatra Province DPRD secretariat is not only internal communication, but every employee is required to be able to communicate well with external parties. With good communication, the information conveyed by superiors to employees will be easier to understand in accordance with their job responsibilities. And good communication can also establish harmonious cooperative relations with the DPRD Secretariat of North Sumatra Province.
