This study aims to determine the effect of capital adequacy, intermediation function, and financing type policy on financing risk in Islamic commercial banks for the 2017-2021 period. The data used in this study is secondary data derived from the annual banking report which can be accessed through the website of the Financial Services Authority (www.ojk.go.id) or the official website of each bank. This type of research is a causal associative conducted with quantitative descriptive methods. This study uses population data from Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority for the period 2017-2021. The sampling method used was a saturated sampling method of 11 banks with 55 observations. The results showed that capital adequacy had a negative and significant effect on financing risk, the intermediation function had a positive and significant effect on financing risk, and financing type policy had a positive and significant effect on financing risk. Simultaneously, capital adequacy, intermediation function, and financing type policies affect financing risk in Islamic commercial banks registered with OJK in 2017-2021.
