This research aims to examine the nutrient condition of the soil and oil palm plants of smallholder plantations in Belongkut Village, Marbau District, North Labuhanbatu Regency with a height of ± 44 meters above sea level. This research is survey research (descriptive) using direct observation in the field and analysis in the laboratory. The parameters observed in this research were the nutrients of N, P and K contained in the leaf disc soil. People's oil palm plantation land in Belongkut Village, Marbau District, North Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra. The results show that combined with very low fertility. Oil palm plants are effective at absorbing nutrients, in low soil nutrients but in optimum nutrient plants - in excess. Therefore, fertilizer recommendations are needed on mineral soil and peatland in accordance with the results of nutrient analysis, on mineral land it is necessary as much as 2,9 kg Urea/plant/year, 2 kg SP36/plant/year and 2,9 kg MOP/plant/year. On peat land it is necessary as much as 2,45 kg UREA/plant/year, 1.4 kg RP/plant/year and 3,2 kg MOP/plant/year.
