dc.description.abstractTurnover Intention is an employee's intention to change jobs or leave their company voluntarily or not and based on certain reasons. The company's leadership style and lack of understanding turnover intention can increase employee turnover intention rates. This research aims to determine the influence of toxic leadership and workload on turnover intention. The influence of toxic leadership and workload will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on turnover intention among PTPN IV employees. The form of research used is quantitative with an associative approach. The population in this study was all employees at PTPN IV Medan totaling 348 people with a sampling technique using random sampling. Primary data was obtained through distributing questionnaires directly and secondary data was obtained through literature study. The analytical methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, partial test, simultaneous test and determination test and processed using SPSS software. The research results show that toxic leadership does not significantly influence turnover intention, the t value is 1.213 < 1.992 with a sig value of 0.229 > 0.05 and a positive regression coefficient value of 0.109. Workload has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, with a t-count value of 5.455 > 1.992 with a significance of 0.229 < 0.05 and a positive regression coefficient value of 0.648 In simultaneous testing, the variables toxic leadership and workload influence simultaneously with a level of influence of 58.9%, while the remaining 41.1% is influenced by factors outside this research model.en_US
