Analysis of Application Job Rotation in Improving Employees’ Performance on PT Bank Central Asia Tbk – KCU Medan MUIS
Abstract
Job rotation is one of the motivations that can be applied to improved employee performance. Job rotation can be improved employee performance if well implemented and for all employee. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk KCU – Medan is a company that implement the system of job rotation to its employees. The system has been implementing for quite long time. Besides the long implementation period, the system itself has several lacks in it.
In order to cope with the lacks, BCA KCU – Medan is socializing some directions and view-points about the job rotation system to its employees to increase awareness and understanding about the system. Determine all of the employee need job rotation to increase employee performance and reduce boredom and mistakes in completing a given task. This research aims to analyse the application of job rotation in the development of employee performance of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk KCU – Medan.
This research used a descriptive qualitative research method which is by presenting the analysis result with the aspects of deep understanding on a problem and reviewing problems in each case that can be obtained through various research sources and described descriptively in accordance with actual fact at the related place. This research was conducted at PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk from July to September 2021. Data collecting on this research was conducted with in-depth interviews.
The informants of this research are the head of human resources kanwil 5, head of training center kanwil 5, and a staff of operating system unit kanwil 5. The data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this research shows that the job rotation system implemented by the company has been well practiced, in which the rotated employees are able to adapt well and improve their performance.
