dc.description.abstract | Oil palm is Indonesia's top plantation commodity. In 2021, the area of oil
palm plantations reached 15,081,021 ha and made Indonesia the country with the largest oil palm plantation area in the world. Fertilization has a considerable influence on the achievement of oil palm crop production. This study aims to assess the characteristics of soil and leaf nutrients and fertilization recommendations for oil palm plants in the Cot Girek Plantation of PTPN IV REGIONAL 6 KSO. This research was conducted in the oil palm plantation of PTPN IV REGIONAL 6 KSO Cot Girek Estate, Cot Girek and Pirak Timu Districts, North Aceh Regency, Aceh. This research uses descriptive methods by conducting surveys, determining the location of afdelling and sample blocks is done by purposive sampling technique and laboratory analysis. The results showed that the soil texture in Cot Girek plantation is dusty clay loam texture and pH is acidic. The assessment of soil fertility level in the gawangan has low soil
fertility both in TM and TBM land. In the disk soil in the Producing Crop (TM), N nutrient levels in the soil were moderate to low while in the crop were excessive, P nutrient levels in the soil were very low while in the crop were optimum, K nutrient levels in the soil were high so in the crop nutrients were optimum to deficient and Mg nutrient levels in the soil were high while in the crop were optimum. In Immature Plants (TBM) shows that the N nutrient levels in the soil are moderate so that the nutrients in the plants are considered excessive, the P nutrient levels in the soil are very low while in the plants are optimum, the K and Mg nutrient levels are high so that the nutrients in the plants are considered optimum. | en_US |
