Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair Urine Sapi Fermentasi terhadap Produktivitas Rumput Gajah

Abstract

The response of using liquid organic fertilizer from cow urine to the productivity of elephant grass has not been widely studied in this area. For this reason, research has been carried out in Kisaran Timur District. Asahan North Sumatra for 4 months starting from February 2023 to May 2023 using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 cow urine POC treatments (0, 50, 100 and 150 mL / plant plot) consisting of 5 replications. The parameters observed were fresh weight, dry weight, plant height and number of elephant grass saplings. The research results showed that the use of fermented cow urine liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on all parameters. The best results for the fresh weight of elephant grass were obtained when administering a dose of 150 ml/plant plot, namely 87.33 gr. In terms of dry weight, the highest production of elephant grass was obtained at a dose of 150 ml/plant plot, namely 22.60 gr. The highest results for elephant grass plant height with an average of 94.96 cm were obtained by administering a dose of 150 ml / plant plot. Meanwhile, the highest average number of elephant grass seedlings, namely 7.06, was also obtained when administering a dose of 150 ml/plant plot.
